Obverse description Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief against a finely engraved radial line background. The portrait, designed by Steven Rosati, depicts the King in a contemporary, naturalistic style with detailed surface modeling. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the upper field, while the denomination 50 DOLLARS and the date 2024 appear along the lower field. The engraver's initials SR are present in the lower right field near the portrait's truncation.

Reverse description A single large Canadian maple leaf occupies the central field, rendered in the classic Royal Canadian Mint bullion style with fine vein detail. Directly below the maple leaf is a small privy mark security feature laser-engraved with the last two digits of the year of issue. The surrounding legend along the upper arc reads CANADA, while the lower field carries the purity and metal designations in both English and French. The overall composition is clean and heraldic, consistent with the long-running Maple Leaf bullion series.
