Reverse description Two large, overlapping sugar maple leaves rendered in exceptional detail occupy the central field, their veining and lobed contours executed with botanical precision. A micro-engraved laser maple leaf security mark appears in the lower left field, serving as an anti-counterfeiting device. The legend CANADA is inscribed along the upper arc of the border, while the bilingual purity and weight inscription FINE SILVER 10 OZ ARGENT PUR 9999 runs along the lower arc. The date 2024 appears to the right of the maple leaves, and the engraver's initials CG are present in the lower right field. Radial line finishing frames the composition within the inner border.

Additional information

The "Magnificent Maples" series continues the Royal Canadian Mint's long-running practice of issuing kilo-weight bullion in .9999 fine silver — a purity standard the RCM pioneered commercially and has used as a market differentiator since the 1990s. Charles III's effigy, sculpted by Steven Rosati and adopted across Canadian coinage following the queen's death in September 2022, appears here for one of its first appearances on a major bullion format.
