| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed portraiture. The engraver's initials JC appear in small incuse letters below the portrait at the right. The circular legend reads CHARLES III to the left and NIUE · 50 DOLLARS to the right, with the date 2025 centered at the base, all separated by raised dots. A fine beaded border runs along the entire rim. |

| Additional information |
The Czech Lion bullion series, originally launched by the Czech Mint for the Slovak and Czech markets, has become one of the more commercially successful Central European gold programs of the past decade — unusual in that a landlocked nation's heraldic animal became the anchor design for coins issued under Pacific island authority. Niue's role here is purely nominal; the legal tender framework it provides to dozens of foreign mint programs is a fiscal arrangement, not a reflection of any monetary infrastructure on the island itself.
The .9999 fineness places this issue among the purest standard gold coins in current production, finer than the American Gold Eagle or the Krugerrand.
