| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into two distinct zones by a contrast between a frosted relief field and a mirror-polished field. The left half features an intricate low-relief panoramic composition of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, including the Christ the Redeemer statue, the Colosseum, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, and other celebrated landmarks rendered in fine detail. The right half displays, in the upper portion, the crowned Public Seal of Niue within a wreath, accompanied by the inscriptions ATUA and NIUE TUKULAGI on a ribbon below. The denomination 50 DOLLARS and the date 2023 are incused in bold lettering in the lower right of the polished field. The Czech Mint mark appears near the top of the coin above the Christ the Redeemer figure. |
