| Reverse description | The reverse presents a breathtaking high-relief depiction of the Court of the Lions (Patio de los Leones) of the Alhambra, rendered with exceptional sculptural depth and precision. Rows of slender marble-like columns topped with elaborately carved capitals support horseshoe arches covered in densely worked arabesque and calligraphic relief decoration, replicating the characteristic Nasrid stucco work of the original palace. At the centre, a Moorish arch frames a genuine amber-coloured Tiffany art glass insert, evoking the warm glow of Andalusian light. The famous Lion Fountain, with its twelve sculpted lions, is depicted in low relief along the lower register. The inscriptions ALHAMBRA DE GRANADA and TIFFANY ART appear in the upper field, with the artist's signature Tiffany Art and the date 2015 incused in the lower field. |
