Reverse description	Printed in red on a light blue guilloche underprint, the reverse carries an intaglio vignette of a traditional fishing scene: a fisherman tending nets in a sailed dugout canoe in the foreground, with a second sailing vessel in the middle distance and a dense tropical shoreline dominated by the distinctive volcanic peak of Pico Cão Grande in the background. A large ornate guilloche rosette occupies the right portion of the note, with the denomination numeral 50 at upper right and lower left.
