Pick 80 is among the first issues from Dar As-Sikkah to incorporate color-shifting ink on a Moroccan dirham note — a security upgrade that reflects the facility's ongoing investment in intaglio and specialty printing since it absorbed full production responsibilities from European contractors in the late 1980s. Dar As-Sikkah, the Royal Mint's banknote division, has printed all Moroccan notes since 1987, ending decades of reliance on De La Rue and the Banque de France.
