Reverse description A laureate bust of Napoleon I faces left in high relief, rendered in the neoclassical style characteristic of early 19th-century imperial portraiture. The emperor wears a laurel wreath tied at the nape with a ribbon bow, and his bare-shouldered truncation is sharply defined. The engraver's initials fm appear in the lower field near the truncation. A circular legend surrounds the effigy: NAPOLEO · I · EMP · D · FRANCA · Co · PR · D · L · V · D'ANDORRA in the upper arc, and · NOMINACIO · DE · VEGUER · 27 · MARS · 1806 · in the lower arc, all within a beaded border.
