| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of King Aleksandar I facing left, with finely engraved hair detail, rendered in high relief in a restrained neoclassical style by engraver Percy Metcalfe. The truncation of the neck appears at the lower centre of the field. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the portrait, reading АЛЕКСАНДАР I. КРАЉ ЈУГОСЛАВИЈЕ, with the mint name КОВНИЦА А.Д. inscribed below the bust truncation. The entire design is framed by a raised beaded border. |
