Comments

This is not a genuine circulating banknote but a propaganda forgery — almost certainly produced during the 1992–1995 Bosnian War, when psychological operations on all sides included the production and distribution of counterfeit or altered currency as a destabilization tool. The Convertible Marka itself was not introduced until 1998, which immediately raises questions about this item's exact origin and intended purpose. A note denominated in a currency that did not yet exist at the time of the conflict points toward post-war production, possibly for political commentary, collector exploitation, or disinformation.

Provenance matters enormously here.
