| Obverse description | Olive-green intaglio note with a central oval vignette bearing a portrait of Ricardo Fernández Guardia, the inscription of his name appearing below in the cartouche. Numerals "50" and the denomination letter "L" are set within ornate guilloche rosettes at left and right, with "Serie A" printed in red at both upper corners. Two red serial numbers run across the upper portion, with the issuer's name in gothic script along the top, the place and date of issue at lower left, and two manuscript signatures with their respective titles below. |
