Obverse description	Olive-green note with an ornate guilloche border framing the entire face. At centre, a large oval cartouche carries the denomination 伍拾角 (50 Chiao) in bold Chinese characters, flanked by two circular vignettes each containing a pagoda building. A row of five interlocking medallions bearing the bank name in Chinese characters runs across the top, with date and serial number inscriptions in vertical columns to the left and right margins.
Obverse lettering	東三省官銀號永遠通用中華民國二年戊字第號
Reverse description	Uniform olive-green note printed with an all-over fine geometric lathe-work underprint. The bank title 'THE BANK OF THE EASTERN THREE PROVINCES' arcs across the upper portion, below which the promise text reads 'TO PAY WITH SILVER CENTS'. The large central legend 'FIFTY TEN CENTS PIECES' is set in bold serif type, with the full bearer clause 'PROMISES TO PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND FIFTY TEN CENTS PIECES LOCAL CURRENCY AT ITS OFFICE HERE' in smaller type beneath. Numeral '50' appears in each corner, with Chinese denomination 伍拾角 in cartouches at left and right.
