The date ໑໙໕໒ in Lao numerals appears at the top of the field, with the denomination expressed in four forms around the flower: ໕໐ (Lao numeral, upper left), ງັດ (Lao script, upper right), 50 (Arabic numeral, lower left), and CENTS (Latin script, lower right). The date 1952 in Arabic numerals is inscribed at the base, flanked by small decorative ornaments.
