| Reverse description | Green note with three saw-toothed line borders framing fifteen lines of text setting out the official rules governing Theatre Auctions, including bidding procedures, attendance requirements, and a warning against collusive practices. |
| Reverse lettering | RULES FOR "THEATRE AUCTIONS" 1. Theatre Money is used, just as United States Money, for bidding at Theatre Auctions. 2. Bids are made on special bidding tickets furnished by the theatre. 3. Select the article and number, fill out the Special Bidding ticket and drop into auction box at the theatre. Only ONE bid to a person in each auction will count, and a winner cannot bid on that one article at each auction. 4. The bidder must be in the Theatre to win, otherwise the next highest bidder wins. Bidders must have their money in the theatre the night of the auction at the time the prizes are presented, otherwise the bid is forfeited and will be given to the next highest bidder. 5. If you are not the winner at one auction, keep your money to use at the next Theatre Auction. 6. When two or more bidders bid equal amounts on any one prize, the prize will be auctioned from the stage to them and no others. WARNING: If, when and where bidder has used collusive methods to obtain Theatre Money, said bidder is automatically eliminated from participation. |
