| Obverse description | The Coat of Arms of Fiji occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a sugar cane stalk, a coconut palm, a dove with an olive branch, and a bunch of bananas. The shield is surmounted by a passant guardant lion holding a cocoa pod in its forepaws, and above it rises a traditional Fijian outrigger canoe. The supporters on either side are Fijian warriors in traditional dress. The denomination 50 CENTS appears in the lower legend, flanked by the issuer name FIJI and the date 2022, with the weight and fineness inscription 1 oz .999 FINE SILVER also present. The Fijian motto Rerevaka na Kalou ka doka na Tui, translating as Fear God and honour the King, is inscribed along the lower periphery. |
