| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago occupies the central field, featuring a shield charged with three ships and a chevron, supported by an ibis to the left and a scarlet macaw to the right, both standing on a grassy mount amid stylised waves. Above the shield rises a helmet surmounted by a coconut palm crest with a ship's wheel, flanked by two sprays of foliage. A scroll beneath the supporters bears the national motto TOGETHER WE ASPIRE TOGETHER WE ACHIEVE in relief.
