| Obverse description | The obverse bears the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as designed by Susanna Blunt, depicting the Queen in mature portrait with a pearl necklace and earring. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim and D•G•REGINA along the upper right rim. The commemorative dates 1952 and 2022, separated by four dots, appear to the left of the effigy, referencing the Queen's reign.
