Obverse description Left-facing crowned and draped bust of King George V occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with fine detail on the imperial crown, robes, and military collar. The effigy, modelled by Sir Edgar Bertram MacKennal, is surrounded by a continuous Latin legend along the periphery. A beaded inner border frames the design, with a dentillated outer rim visible around the edge.
