Reverse description The reverse depicts four magnificent frigatebirds (Fregata magnificens) in dynamic flight across an open field, rendered with finely engraved feather detail on their distinctive long, angled wings and deeply forked tails. The birds are shown in varied attitudes of soaring and swooping, filling the central field with a sense of natural movement. The denomination 50 CENTS is inscribed as a prominent legend along the upper portion of the field. A continuous beaded border encircles the design.
