| Reverse description | Central to the reverse is a fully coloured, whimsical depiction of a cartoon-style baby dragon rendered in vivid red and gold, with yellow wings, a segmented yellow underbelly, and blue eyes, seated upright and holding a green sack overflowing with colourful gifts and candy canes. Incuse five-pointed stars are scattered across the mirror-polished field, evoking a festive celestial atmosphere. The stylised inscription YEAR OF THE DRAGON appears in the upper left field, accompanied by the Chinese character 龍 (dragon) to the upper right. The Perth Mint's P mintmark is visible at the right periphery, and the engraver's initials AH appear in the lower left field. The legend 2012 1/2 oz 999 SILVER is inscribed along the lower exergue. |
