Reverse description A Great Spangled Fritillary butterfly (Speyeria cybele), depicted in vivid holographic color, is shown in three-quarter dorsal view perched upon a flowering plant head occupying the central field. The hologram produces a shifting iridescent spectrum across the entire reverse surface, rendering the butterfly's characteristic spotted wing pattern in orange, pink, and lavender tones. The date 2005 is inscribed in the upper portion of the field above the butterfly, and the engraver's initials JY appear to the lower right. The reverse was designed by Jianping Yan.
