Reverse description Full-colour depiction inspired by the official poster art of the 1981 James Bond film For Your Eyes Only. A suited male figure in a black tuxedo, pistol raised in his right hand, dominates the right side of the field against a stylised gun-barrel motif rendered in silver. To the left, a coloured helicopter in yellow and blue hovers mid-flight with a falling figure below, set against a cloud-streaked background. The bold legend FOR YOUR EYES ONLY arcs across the lower centre of the field, with the trademarked 007 logotype inscribed beneath.

Additional information

Part of the Royal Australian Mint's long-running James Bond series issued through Tuvalu, this coin commemorates the 1981 film — the first Bond production released after a legal dispute between producer Kevin McClory and Eon Productions was settled, and notably the last to feature Bernard Lee as M before his death during pre-production. McClory retained rights to the Thunderball story elements through a separate agreement, a contractual fracture that shaped the franchise's trajectory for two decades.
