| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susan Taylor, depicting the monarch in mature portrait with hair styled in an upswept chignon and wearing a pearl necklace and drop earrings. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a finely striated field, enclosed within a beaded inner border. The legend ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA arcs around the upper periphery, while the commemorative regnal dates 1952 and 2022, separated by decorative mullets, appear at the base of the effigy, marking her 70-year reign. |
