| Reverse description | The reverse features a striking frontal view of the Steamrail Victoria R-class steam locomotive R 711, known as the 'Spirit of Bendigo', depicted head-on with billowing steam clouds rising from the smokebox above. The locomotive bears the inscription STEAMRAIL on its boiler and the identifier R 711 on the front buffer beam. Radiating diagonally from behind the engine is a vibrant pad-printed colour background of alternating blue, black, red, and yellow diagonal stripes, evoking speed and the locomotive's heritage livery. The inscriptions VIC R711 and SPIRIT OF BENDIGO appear in the lower left and right fields respectively, while STEAM POWER arcs prominently across the lower centre and AUSTRALIAN RAIL HERITAGE is inscribed along the bottom rim. |
