Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed depiction of a tiger in repose beneath the spreading branches of a tree, rendered in a naturalistic style befitting the Lunar Series theme. To the left of the central motif appears the Chinese character 虎 (tiger), while the inscription YEAR OF THE TIGER arcs within the field. The Perth Mint's distinctive 'P' mintmark is incorporated into the design. The composition celebrates the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Tiger within Australia's official bullion coin program.
