Reverse description A faithful recreation of the reverse design from the 1937 Australian Crown, featuring a large, centrally placed St. Edward's Crown rendered in high relief, with elaborate fleur-de-lis arches, a beaded inner band, and a cross pattée surmounting the orb at the apex. The engraver's initials KG appear to the lower right of the crown's base. The circumferential legend COMMONWEALTH:OF:AUSTRALIA reads clockwise around the upper field, separated by ornamental stops, while the denomination • ONE CROWN • and date 1937 appear in the lower field, all within a beaded border.
