| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas occupies the central field, featuring a shield divided into quarters depicting a rising sun above a sailing ship on a sea, flanked by a blue marlin as dexter supporter and a flamingo as sinister supporter. Above the shield rises an elaborate helm and mantling surmounted by a conch shell, with a hand grasping a bundle of three arrows as crest. A scroll beneath the shield bears the national motto FORWARD UPWARD ONWARD TOGETHER.
