Obverse description Circular wooden token with all legends burned or stamped into the natural wood surface. The central field bears the issuing authority legend in multiple lines reading SECOND ISSUE / REDEEMABLE / DECEMBER 1, 1933 / CITY OF / NORTH BEND / OREGON. Below the central text, the facsimile cursive signature of I. N. Hartley, designated TREASURER, appears at lower left, and the facsimile signature of Edgar McDaniel, designated MAYOR, appears at lower right. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative wreath border of stylized leaves rendered in an incuse burned technique.
