| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III, rendered in high relief after the portrait by engraver Dominique Thiébaut, whose initials 'DT' appear in the lower right field. The legend 'CHARLES III · 2026 · SOLOMON ISLANDS' arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination '50 CENTS' is inscribed at the base, flanked by two raised dots. The portrait displays fine detail in the facial features and hair, set against a polished field with a gold-plated finish. |

The wild cherry blossom — Prunus avium — has no particular historical or economic connection to the Solomon Islands, making this one of the Pacific collector series that exists entirely as a numismatic product rather than as circulating currency. The Central Bank of Solomon Islands has issued dozens of such themed pieces since the early 2000s, licensing its issuing authority to European distributors who control design, production, and distribution entirely.
Gold-plated iron rather than the more common gold-plated copper-nickel substrate — an unusual choice that will matter to long-term preservation, given iron's susceptibility to oxidation if the plating is breached.
