| Reverse description | Colourful composition of red Flanders poppies in full bloom, depicted in vivid colour printing against the black nickel field, with strands of barbed wire rendered in relief interlaced among the stems and foliage — evoking the battlefields of Gallipoli. The date '25 APRIL' appears in large numerals and text at the upper left, below which the commemorative inscription 'THEY SHALL GROW NOT OLD' is inscribed across the centre field in three lines. The coin's inner border features a decorative scalloped pattern. |

| Additional information |
Gallipoli remembrance issues have multiplied across Pacific and Commonwealth mints since the ANZAC centenary cycle began in 2015, and Solomon Islands has issued repeatedly in this space for the collector market rather than domestic circulation. Black nickel plating on an iron core is a finishing technique borrowed from the challenge coin and medallion trade — it has no precedent in traditional coinage and exists purely to differentiate shelf product.
