| Obverse description | Right-facing uncrowned effigy of King Charles III occupying the central field, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial features and hair. The portrait is based on the effigy designed by Dominic Thomas (initials DT visible in the field to the right of the bust). The legend CHARLES III arcs along the left periphery, with 2025 and SOLOMON ISLANDS continuing along the upper arc, and 50 CENTS inscribed along the lower arc, all separated by raised dot stops. The heptagonal planchet is gold-plated, giving the coin a warm, lustrous finish. |
