| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III after the portrait by Dominic Thomas, occupying the central field of the heptagonal flan. The legend 'CHARLES III' arcs along the left periphery, '2025' and 'SOLOMON ISLANDS' curve along the upper right, and '50 CENTS' is inscribed along the lower border. The engraver's initials 'DT' appear in the lower right field near the truncation of the bust. The gold-plated surface imparts a rich, uniform luster to the design. |

Solomon Islands has long issued low-face-value fantasy pieces marketed as legal tender but never intended for circulation — this is one of them. The "Cinderella" series targets the gift and novelty market rather than numismatic collectors, and gold-plated iron construction is the tell: no serious commemorative program uses ferrous metal.
Charles III's name lends nominal issuing legitimacy, as Solomon Islands remains a Commonwealth realm with the monarch as head of state. That connection is doing a lot of work here.
