| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and wearing a pearl necklace and drop earrings, as rendered by Dora de Pédery-Hunt. The portrait occupies the central field with the denomination '50 CENTS' inscribed to the left of the bust.
