Terrassola i Lavit is a tiny municipality in the Alt Penedès comarca, and like hundreds of similarly small Catalan towns, it issued its own emergency fractional currency during the Civil War after the Republic's small-change shortage made copper coinage effectively unavailable. The printer, Arts Gràfiques Benaiges — operating under collective management as Impremta Col·lectiva following the anarcho-syndicalist collectivizations of July 1936 — was based in nearby Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and handled notes for several local ayuntamientos in the region.
Turró catalogs this as #2460. The issuing population at the time was well under a thousand.
