| Obverse description | Central vignette consists of a rhomboid crowned shield of Catalonia flanked by two allegorical figures: to the left, a bare-chested male worker holding a hammer with industrial factory buildings in the background, and to the right, a peasant holding a bundle of straw. The composition reflects the Republican and Catalan nationalist iconography typical of Civil War-era emergency issues. |
