| Obverse description | Printed entirely in violet on pale paper, the note is enclosed within a decorative border of scrolling wave ornaments with denomination numerals '50 CTS.' at each corner. The central text panel carries the issuer name and a bearer clause guaranteeing the amount by deposit at the Banc Hispano-Colonial, set against a faint underprint of fruit and foliage. Two manuscript signatures appear below, attributed to the Alcalde-President at left and the Conseller de Finances at right. |
