Fulleda is a village in Les Garrigues, Tarragona province, with a population that barely reached three figures during the 1930s. That this municipality issued its own emergency paper money during the Spanish Civil War is less surprising than it sounds — the Republic's collapse of small-denomination coinage after July 1936 forced hundreds of Catalan towns, however tiny, to print their own fractional currency just to keep local commerce functioning. The Generalitat eventually tried to regularize the chaos, but by then thousands of distinct local issues already existed.

Turró catalogs this as a single known denomination for Fulleda, suggesting the municipality's emission was minimal — possibly a single print run, never repeated.
