Castellolí is a tiny municipality in the Anoia comarca of Catalonia, and like hundreds of similarly small Spanish towns, it issued its own fractional paper currency during the Civil War after the collapse of reliable coin circulation in 1936. These local emergency issues — collectively catalogued in the thousands across Republican-held Catalonia — were often produced on whatever card or printing stock was locally available, which accounts for the variation in substrate quality across surviving examples.

The Turró reference places this firmly within that documented municipal series. Nothing anomalous is recorded for Turró #754 specifically.
