Bollullos del Condado is a small municipality in the Huelva wine country, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War period, its ayuntamiento issued small-denomination paper emergency money — locally called "billetes de necesidad" — to address the chronic shortage of fractional coinage that followed the economic disruption of 1936. These pieces were produced with whatever printing resources were locally available, which means quality varies wildly even within the same series.
The Gari Mon reference places this firmly in the documented Andalusian local emissions corpus, but surviving examples in any condition are genuinely uncommon — most circulated hard and fast before being discarded or rendered worthless.
