Bienservida is a small municipality in the sierra country of Albacete province, and like hundreds of similar towns across Republican Spain in 1936–37, its municipal council issued fractional emergency notes when the hoarding of coins created an acute small-change crisis. The Imp. Collado print shop in Albacete produced emergency paper for several Manchegan municipalities during this period, working from simple typeset layouts rather than engraved plates.
The Gari Morancho reference places this within a well-documented but thinly surviving series — rural municipal notes from this region were produced in small quantities and saw hard use in confined local economies, making intact survivors genuinely uncommon.
