| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Sello de Hacienda, one of Paraguay's two official national coats of arms, centrally positioned within the field. A circular legend reading REPUBLICA DEL PARAGUAY surrounds the device, while the national motto PAZ Y JUSTICIA appears at the base. The year of issue is inscribed in the lower portion of the design, flanked by dot stops. All lettering is rendered in upright Latin characters typical of the early Guarani coinage series. |

| Reverse description | The reverse features the bold numeral '50' prominently displayed in the upper portion of the field, flanked on either side by a laurel wreath whose branches curve upward from a tied ribbon bow at the base. The denomination legend CENTIMOS is inscribed beneath the numeral, centered within the wreath. The wreath is tied at the bottom with a decorative ribbon, and the overall design is simple and well-struck, characteristic of mid-twentieth century South American coinage. |
