| Reverse description | The reverse presents a central beaded circle enclosing the denomination legend 'TUNISIE / 50 / CENTIMES' in three lines, with the Gregorian year '1928' below and the Paris mint mark 'A' at the very base, flanked by the engraver's privy marks. Surrounding the beaded circle is an elaborate arabesque border composed of interlaced scrollwork and crescent motifs, punctuated by six small five-pointed stars evenly distributed around the outer margin. The entire design is contained within a finely dentilated outer rim, reflecting the French colonial administrative style applied to Tunisian coinage of the Protectorate period. |
