| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription naming the Bey Muhammad al-Nasir, the denomination '50 Centimes' in Arabic script, and the Hijri date at the base. Two vegetal sprigs — a palm branch to the left and an olive branch to the right — flank the inscriptions symmetrically. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed (dentilated) border running along the coin's periphery. |
