| Obverse description | Orange and blue letterpress note with a decorative border of laurel swags and pilasters at the corners. At the top centre, a circular vignette bears the allegorical figure of Marianne with the legend REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE, flanked by braided rope ornaments. The issuer's name CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE DE L'AVEYRON and the denomination 50 CENTIMES appear in bold letterpress across the centre field, set against an orange guilloche underprint. Four facsimile signatures are arranged in two pairs flanking the serial number, attributed to the Presidents and Treasurers of the Chambers of Commerce of Rodez and Millau respectively, with SÉRIE I noted at lower right and the designer credit A.
