Obverse description Yellow-ochre note with a brown letterpress frame composed of two ornate pillar motifs on either side, linked by a decorative foliate and anchor-chain guilloche band at the top centre, within which the municipal coat of arms of Le Tréport is set on a shielded vignette bearing the motto 'SEQ INF ULT PORTUS'. The denomination '50 CENTIMES' is printed in large bold type across the centre, with the cantons 'D'EU, BLANGY & AUMALE' inscribed above, and two facsimile manuscript signatures of the Secretary and Vice-President appear below. Reverse description Plain cream ground enclosed within a brown ornamental border of repeated scroll and dot motifs, with decorative floral corner pieces in relief. A faint mirror impression of the obverse denomination is visible as a see-through underprint.
