| Obverse description | Green letterpress note on cream paper with a fine guilloche underprint across the entire field. The issuer's title CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DU MANS arches across the upper portion, flanked on the left by the municipal coat of arms of Le Mans and on the right by a decorative cartouche bearing the chamber's emblem, both set within ornate Art Nouveau foliate borders. The large denomination numeral '50' and the word CENTIMES are centered in the lower half, beneath the serial number and the manuscript signatures of the Treasurer and the President, with the date 1er MARS 1917 inscribed in a lower cartouche. |

| Reverse description | Printed entirely in green on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a large central oval vignette formed by dense laurel and acanthus foliage, enclosing the redemption text in cursive script. The validity years 1917–1922 appear in a cartouche at the top of the oval wreath, while the denomination '0,50' is printed in the upper left and upper right corners. The series designation '2ème Série' appears twice in the lower corners, and the printer's imprint IMP. MONNOYER LE MANS is set at the very foot of the design. |
