| Obverse description | Printed in blue-green on cream paper with a warm ochre guilloche underprint, the obverse centres on a classical female head vignette set within an elaborate foliate and scrollwork frame, flanked by ribbon banners inscribed with regional place names. The denomination '0,50 Centimes' is set in large letterpress type in the lower central field, with series number to the left and serial number to the right.
