| Obverse description | Green letterpress note with an oval guilloche underprint at centre bearing a large '50 C' watermark-style overprint, within which the denomination '50 CENTIMES' is printed in bold uppercase. The issuer's title appears on a ribbon scroll at the top, flanked by two corner medallions each inscribed '50 CENTIMES'. Laurel branch vignettes occupy the lower corners, and two signature lines for the President and Treasurer appear beneath the denomination, above a cartouche stating the ministerial authorisation of 17 March 1920. |

| Reverse description | Green letterpress reverse centred on a circular vignette enclosing the crowned arms of the Creuse department, flanked by oak and olive branches, with the issuer's name running around the inner border of the circle. The years '1920' and '1925' appear in decorative lozenges to the left and right respectively, and floral corner ornaments fill the four angles of the outer frame. A five-line redemption clause in French occupies the lower half of the note, with the printer's imprint 'IMP. P. DUMONT' at the bottom right. |
