| Obverse description | Cream paper with a repeated text underprint reading CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE GRANVILLE across the entire field. A decorative letterpress border with ornamental corner pieces frames the note. At upper centre, a scrolled ribbon banner carries the issuer title CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE GRANVILLE, flanked by two bell vignettes dated 1915 (left) and 1920 (right). The municipal coat of arms of Granville appears to the left, with the large denomination numeral 50 printed as a pale ochre guilloche watermark underprint at centre. Two manuscript facsimile signatures appear below the denomination, those of Le Trésorier (left) and Le Président (right), with a serial number cartouche in an ornate guilloche frame at lower centre. |
