| Obverse description | Green letterpress note on a warm buff ground, with a repeating guilloche underprint reading 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE L'ARIEGE' across the entire field. To the left, a circular vignette encloses the municipal coat of arms of Foix flanked by laurel branches, supported by an ornate cartouche base. | Reverse lettering | 50c Ce billet garanti par un dépôt d'égale somme à la Banque de France est toujours échangeable contre des Billets de la dite Banque à ses seuls guichets de sa succursale à Foix. Il devra sous peine de prescription, y être présenté au remboursement avant le 2 février 1920 (soit un délai de 5 ans). En attendant la liquidation définitive des bons qui commencera 6 mois avant le 2 février 1920 tout porteur de ces bons pourra en exiger le remboursement à vue lorsqu'il en présentera pour au moins 50 francs. Le remboursement à vue sera également exigible lorsque le porteur en présentera pour une somme inférieure à 50 francs, à condition de compléter la différence en billets de la Banque de France ou en numéraire.
